Miscellaneous

My first blog post.

Hello World! Let me introduce myself. My name is Luna Elisabeth Allen. I am a young writer living in southern Massachusetts, on my way to getting my degree in environmental conservation (Woo!). I love my cat Chi-Chi, my three ferrets, the environment, and various espresso concoctions. I was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness and left when I was 14 years old, I use the experience as “fuel to my fire” so to speak, and it invigorates my writing, gives me passion. But enough about that.

This is my first blog (as you can see by the title) and honestly, I’m a bit overwhelmed by the excitement and anxiety. I am officially starting my journey as a freelance writer and blogger, and it’s just crazy to know there’s a whole world of mysteries and adventures out there that I have yet to learn about, and I’m have the privilege of writing about them! I was extremely sheltered as a child, and I make it my life’s goal to learn as much as I can about this beautiful world we live in, without filter, and without limits.

With this blog, I want to make people happy, help people learn, and most important – make people think. The world is so complex, and full of so many interesting mysteries and caveats, and I believe the pursuit of all knowledge will never, ever, be truly over, and should never be restrained. So I hope you stick around to see what I find out, and I promise I will keep you entertained, learning, and questioning, and we can learn together along the way!

I’ll be back next week with a new and interesting story, so why not come along for the ride? Tell me whatcha think.
